Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Medical Assistant Diploma or equivalent training
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assisting experience
BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
Strong front and back office experience
Excellent communication skills and flexibility
A Day in the Life As a Medical Assistant in our women's health clinic, you'll play a pivotal role in patient care and clinic operations. Start your day preparing exam rooms and patient information for upcoming appointments. Assist physicians during exams and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and accuracy. Perform essential back-office tasks like taking vital signs, administering medications, and conducting tests. On the front office side, greet patients, check them in, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries with professionalism.
