Collaborate with skilled PT Aides who support therapeutic exercise and caseload flow

Accurately and efficiently document patient care using Prompt EMR

Refer patients to complementary in-house services (massage, personal training, group classes) as clinically appropriate

Participate in structured mentorship (new grads) or mentor developing clinicians (experienced PTs)

Attend monthly in-services, hosted classes, and continuing education opportunities

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for the Human Resources function, aligning HR programs, policies, and priorities with organizational goals and continued growth.
Lead, coach, and develop the HR team while establishing clear performance expectations, accountability standards, and opportunities for professional development.
Serve as a trusted HR advisor to executive leadership and managers, providing guidance on complex employee relations, workforce planning, organizational needs, and employment-related risk.
Lead employee relations matters including workplace investigations, performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, complaints, and disciplinary processes.
Manage labor relations within a unionized environment, including grievances, collective bargaining agreements, labor-management meetings, contract administration, and union negotiations.
Coach and train managers on effective employee counseling, performance documentation, attendance management, overtime practices, meal-period compliance, and consistent application of organizational policies.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and California employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour, ADA, FMLA/CFRA, workers' compensation, and other applicable requirements.
Oversee talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies to support organizational growth, improve internal recruiting capabilities, and address current and future staffing needs.
Monitor recruitment, employee relations, workforce, and other HR metrics to identify trends, strengthen processes, and support data-informed decision-making.
Oversee the development, review, implementation, and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and practices throughout the organization.
Provide strategic oversight of compensation, benefits, workplace safety, workers' compensation, and other HR programs to support compliance, employee retention, and organizational effectiveness.
Lead training, leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational development initiatives that strengthen manager effectiveness, accountability, and workplace culture.
Partner with leadership and legal counsel, when appropriate, to address sensitive, complex, or high-risk employment matters while ensuring appropriate documentation and resolution.
Continuously evaluate HR systems, processes, and service delivery to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, consistency, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
MA Diploma
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
Strong front office experience, with proficiency in scheduling and patient check-in/out processes.
Strong back-office experience, with proficiency in routine examinations and injections/immunizations.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume clinic, managing 100 - 175 patients daily across multiple specialties
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

Escorts patients to exam room; measures and records vital signs.
Prepares patient for examination or treatment and performs routine screening tests. Explains treatment procedures to patients.
Assists physicians with procedure set-ups, patient procedures and examinations. Administers medication by intradermal, subcutaneous, or intramuscular injections, performs skin tests, venipunctures and other technical supportive services upon the specific authorization and supervision of a licensed physician or surgeon. Administers medication following approved procedures and only after verification of medication and dosage by a licensed person.
Performs routine examination and treatment procedures and include applying and removing bandages and dressing, removing sutures and casts, cleaning wounds and applying medications and dressings, performing ear lavage, preparing patients for examinations, and shaving and disinfecting treatment sites.
Schedules and edits and maintains patient physician appointments for new and returning patients, using the scheduling system.
Collects patient demographic and insurance data and enters into systems as well as assigns medical record numbers.
Assures appropriate verifications and authorizations are complete before patient sees provider.
Collects and sends specimens to appropriate labs for testing per protocol.
Reports patient's concerns and systems, reactions, changes (appropriate to age) to licensed clinic personnel. Documents clinical information, including patient phone calls and maintains accurate and complete patient documentation according to medical profession standards.
Processes requests for prescription refills according to established practice.
Prepares the necessary equipment and supplies for exam. Maintains inventory of supplies in examination rooms, replenish as required. Maintains clean and orderly exam rooms, hallways, and work areas.
