What the job is like
• Pay: $28.00 per hour
• Schedule: Per diem; minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed
• Shifts: Evenings or nights shifts (including weekend and holidays)
• Location: Torrance, CA
• Duration: 26 weeks initially

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses and Certifications:
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
• AHA BLS
• MAB or CPI
• LA City Fire & Life Safety Card (must be LA City Fire)
Experience:
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Central Service Technician in a level 1 Trauma Center
• Experience with surgical instrumentation, equipment, and sterile processing workflows

Responsibilities:
• Perform cleaning, decontamination, assembly, packaging, and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies
• Ensure instruments and equipment are properly prepared for surgical procedures
• Support operating rooms and related departments with timely instrument delivery
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
• Work every other weekend and holidays as required
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental protocols
