  • Competitive Pay: $35.00 an hour
  • Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Shift Times: 8:30AM-5:00PM
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: ASAP

Required
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  •  Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved diploma school /institution or equivalent documented training
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Medical Assisting experience in a high volume facility 
  • Front and Back Office experience
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
  • Must be familiar with EPIC
Preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) 
Required Abilities/Skills
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Scheduling appointments 
  • Faxing results
  • Create and break down charts
  • Scan medical records
  • reschedule canceled patients
  • Vitals 
  • Rooming patients
  • Assisting with minor procedures
  •  Informs patient’s authorization and collects payment for new and returning patients, using the scheduling system.
  •  Assures appropriate verifications and authorizations are complete before patient sees provider
