Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Medical Assistant diploma or certified training
At least 1 year of Medical Assisting experience
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a high-security, sensitive environment
Reliable, professional, and motivated
A Day in the Life
Support both in-person and telehealth patient care
Assist providers and facilitate telehealth sessions via Microsoft Teams
Manage clinic flow and scheduling efficiently
Triage referrals and document notes in electronic records
Coordinate medication management and follow-ups
Collaborate closely with custody and mental health staff
Translate for bilingual team members as needed
