Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
CA Certified Medical Assistant
1–2 years of pediatric medical assisting experience
EPIC EMR experience
Strong front and back office skills
A Day in the Life
Answer multi-line phone calls and schedule appointments
Greet and check-in patients, update demographic and insurance info
Collect co-pays and obtain signatures
Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians during procedures
Take vital signs and perform routine screening tests
Educate patients and their families on treatments and care procedures
Manage inventory and maintain clinical supplies
