Pay: $57.62 base + $86.43 overtime ($2,535.28 weekly gross)
Schedule: Rotating 10-hour shiftsÂ

Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)Â
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) OR Tech in Surgery Certification (TS-C) from National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)Â
Minimum 3Â years of experience as CSTÂ
Preferred
Previous Travel ExperienceÂ
Previous pediatric experience as CSTÂ
Previous Level 1 Trauma experience as CSTÂ
Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Provide surgical support to physicians and pediatric patients during complex procedures, including, Trauma, ECMO, Neuro, and Transplant surgeries.Â
Anticipate the needs of the surgeon by efficiently passing instruments, supplies, and equipment throughout the procedure.Â
Ensure safe identification and handling of specimens and medications, considering patient allergies, weight, and maximum medication doses.Â
Perform surgical counts on sharps, small items, instruments, and sponges with the circulating nurse before, during, and after procedures to ensure accuracy.Â
Prepare the surgical field by organizing supplies, instruments, and equipment, ensuring all materials are available, functional, and used correctly.Â
Assist in indirect patient care activities, including patient transport and standard work or cleaning duties post-surgery.Â
maintain aseptic technique by closely monitoring for potential breaches and immediately correcting any issues during procedures.Â
Ensure equipment is functioning properly, promptly reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.Â
