Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Two years of experience in healthcare setting
Epic experience (required)
Ability to greet and assist patients, handle inquiries, verify insurance, and manage patient records and appointments
Proficient in multi-line phone handling, scheduling, and maintaining physician schedules
Knowledge of insurance plans and authorization procedures
Skills
Strong organizational and communication skills

A Day in the Life
The Clinic Assistant II functions as a vital member of the clinic's patient care team, performing all clerical duties necessary for smooth operations. This includes patient check-in and check-out, managing appointment schedules, verifying insurance and authorizations, and coordinating referrals and services. You will also handle patient inquiries, assist with scheduling ancillary services, and resolve basic patient concerns, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
