About the Job:
We're seeking a skilled and compassionate CCU RNÂ to join our team.
As a critical care nurse, you'll provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care
Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments, and operate advanced life-support equipment
Participate in code blue situations and lead nursing interventions as needed
Educate patients and families on complex medical conditions and treatment plans
Document patient care thoroughly and accurately, ensuring compliance with critical care standards
Requirements:
6+ months of critical care nursing experience in a level 1 trauma center
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
CA RN license
LA County fire and Life Safety Card
MAB or CPI certification
