Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university
California Registered Nurse license
Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience in a Level 1 trauma center
Emergency Department experience
Pediatric Experience
EPIC experience
BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
ACLS - (American Heart Association)
PALS - (American Heart Association)
TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course
A Day in the Life
As a Pediatric ER RN at a world-renowned hospital, your day will be fast-paced, dynamic, and deeply impactful. You'll begin by assessing and triaging critically ill and injured children in a Level 1 Trauma Center, working in a collaborative environment alongside a multidisciplinary team. With your advanced knowledge and certifications, you'll administer evidence-based interventions, continuously monitor patient responses, and adjust care accordingly. You’ll provide compassionate support to families during their most vulnerable moments, offering clear communication and guidance throughout the care process. Whether you're managing telemetry, stabilizing trauma patients, or educating families on post-discharge care, your role is vital to both clinical outcomes and emotional healing.
