About the Job:
Pay: $84.00 per hour
Shift Days: Monday-Friday (8-hour shifts)
Shift Times: Rotating start times at 6am or 9am
Duration: 13 weeks initially

Requirements:
Two (2) years of PACU/Endo/GI experience
BLS and ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Experience with Upper and Lower GI procedures such as ESD, ERCP, EMR, Sigmoidoscopy, POEM, Colonoscopy, EUS (endoscopic ultrasound), and/or EGD
Active California RN License
Ability to assist in the “Tech” role for advanced cases
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures with cardiac, vital sign, and medication management
Prep incoming patients for surgery, including IV insertion, pre-operative oral and IV medication management, and obtaining consent for surgery
Monitor patients during and after nerve blocks, including cardiac and vital sign monitoring and oxygen administration
Assist patients recovering in PACU, administering pain medications, monitoring vital signs, and prepping patients for discharge
