Qualifications:
Education:Â
 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in management, healthcare administration, business administration, hospitality services, or a related field preferred
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
Three years  of experience working in hospitality or  healthcare setting (ie: hospital, medical/dental office, nursing facility, concierge etc.)
Scheduling experience
Basic PC Skills (Windows, Excel, and Word)
EPIC experience highly preferred
Responsibilities:
Acts as a non-clinical liaison/concierge/navigator for patients, providing assistance and support before, during, and after their medical facility visit going above and beyond to assist with their needs.Â
Cross train in all departments, check in on patients rooms ensuring patients have all they need.Â
Facilitates scheduling of physician appointments and care during in-patient and out-patient stays for key individual and
Assists in navigating the Stanford healthcare system including enrolling in MyHealth, medical equipment services, aging adult services and physician searches.Â
Greets and guides patients, families, and visitors, offering clear instructions, locating services or facilities, confirming appointments, and providing language interpretation services if needed.Â
Assists with transportation, informing guests about campus shuttles and providing personal transport when necessary.Â
Communicates patient and guest concerns to the appropriate departments, documenting relevant information when necessary.
Provides practical assistance and emotional support to patients, families, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity in all interactions to include housing and hotel assistance, local restaurants, interests and events.Â
