Healthcare Platform Engineer (.NET / Azure) – Remote (Canada)

We are partnering with a Toronto-based health tech company building a global SaaS platform used by thousands of healthcare providers to improve clinical workflows and patient outcomes. Your work will directly support clinicians and contribute to meaningful improvements in patient care.

Why This Role Is Different:

This is a hands-on backend engineering role with strong ownership. You’ll design, build, and scale systems used in real clinical environments while influencing architectural decisions across a growing SaaS platform.

Compensation & Work Schedule:
  • $150,000–$180,000 CAD
  • Full-time (Monday–Friday)
  • Fully Remote (Canada)
  • Direct hire

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of C# / .NET backend development experience
  • 3+ years of experience building and operating SaaS (multi-tenant) applications in production
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Strong backend engineering experience building scalable APIs and production-grade services
  • Experience working with microservices and/or event-driven architectures
  • Experience designing or working with distributed systems and asynchronous workflows
  • Experience owning backend services or features end-to-end in production environments
  • Strong understanding of software design principles
  • Experience working in product-focused or SaaS organizations (startup or mid-size environments strongly preferred)
  • Must be currently based in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship (now or in the future)

Nice to Have
  • Healthcare interoperability experience (FHIR / HL7)
  • Experience in Agile environments
  • Exposure to backend data processing or pipelines


What You’ll Be Building:


You’ll design and scale backend systems powering a global healthcare SaaS platform.

Your work will include:
  • Building scalable C# / .NET backend services
  • Designing high-availability cloud systems on Microsoft Azure
  • Developing secure, high-performance APIs
  • Improving system performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Participating in real-time problem-solving and system design discussions
  • Contributing to architectural decisions across the platform
