Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Coordinator to support inventory operations within a leading healthcare environment. This full-time role offers consistent scheduling, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Schedule & Shifts
Schedule: Sunday–Saturday (weekends required)
Available Shifts:
6:10 AM – 2:40 PM
2:10 PM – 10:40 PM
10:00 PM – 6:40 AM
Compensation & Benefits
$27.00/hour

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid California Driver’s License (CADL)
Minimum 2 years of inventory control experience
Experience with computers and Microsoft Excel for data entry
Required Skills
Inventory coordination and management
Project coordination
Excel proficiency
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills
Ability to commute between sites
Ability to lift and unbox packages weighing 25–50 lbs
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update inventory data in Workday, ensuring accuracy
Use Lawson to extract, analyze, and report inventory data
Develop and maintain standard work for inventory systems and processes
Train frontline staff on handheld devices and Lawson usage
Analyze demand patterns, inventory turns, and days of inventory on hand (DIOH)
Assist with setup and maintenance of inventory par locations
Implement process improvements to reduce inventory levels and control costs
Prepare inventory utilization and performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
Monitor inventory issues and ensure effective resolution
Prepare and audit daily cycle counts and perform root cause analysis
Follow all SHC safety and infection prevention policies
Maintain clean, organized work and break areas
Complete required documentation and paperwork
Respond to patient and non-patient emergencies per SUMC policies
Perform related duties as assigned
