Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Medical Assistant Diploma from an approved school/institution or equivalent documented training
1 to 2 years of Medical Assisting experience
BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
Self-starting team player and fast learner
A Day in the Life: As a Medical Assistant in our pediatric clinic, you'll handle both front and back office tasks. In the front office, you'll check patients in and out, answer calls, verify insurance, handle authorization forms, and collect payments. In the back office, you'll take vital signs, manage chart abstractions and scanning, conduct vision and hearing screenings, administer vaccinations, and assist with procedures such as circumcisions, lab collections, and preparations. Your role ensures a smooth, efficient, and caring environment for our young patients and their families.
