Minimum Qualifications Education Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant diploma
Licenses and Certifications:
Medical Assistant certification preferred
Preferred:
Experience with Epic EMR
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
Experience supporting both front and back office clinical operations
Strong patient service and communication skills
Responsibilities
Room patients and obtain vital signs
Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
Administer injections and perform other MA duties within scope of practice
Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
Schedule appointments, register patients, and verify insurance
Answer phones and assist with front desk operations
Accurately document patient information in the EMR
Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure efficient clinic operations
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting
