Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Medical Assistant Diploma from an approved school or equivalent training
Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
EMR: EPIC
A Day in the Life: Start your day by prepping the department for patient arrivals. You'll greet patients warmly, collect essential information, and record vital signs. Assisting the technologist, you'll help position patients for scans, explain procedures, and alleviate any anxieties. Your responsibilities include handling radioactive materials, maintaining meticulous records in the electronic health system, educating patients on nuclear medicine procedures, and scheduling appointments.
