Responsibilities
Provide telephone triage and advice to parents and caregivers, offering guidance for ill children with a cam, empathetic, and informative approach.
Collaborate closely with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and optimize pediatric patient outcomes.Â
Monitor, assess and manage incoming calls, messages, alerts, and tasks using EPIC ensuring efficient in-basket workflow and timely follow-up.Â
Verify and oversee the administration of medications, including those requiring RN administration; provide guidance and oversight to medical assistants during medication administration.Â
Perform regular medication inventory checks and ensure proper storage, labeling, and availability of essential supplies.Â
Manage and address incoming faces directed to the RN inbox, prioritizing actionable items to support patient care.Â
Provide patient and caregiver education regarding conditions, treatments, medications, and preventive care.Â
Complete and manage essential administrative forms such as school health records, medication authorizations, and other required documentation promptly and accurately.Â
Assist with scheduling, follow-up calls, and appointment reminders are needed to support clinic operations.Â
Support pediatric triage operations within the clinic and provide RN--level interventions and assessments as necessary.Â
Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned to support clinic efficiency and quality of care.Â
