About the job:
Pay: $816.62 Daily pay and up to $2,268.00 Weekly Gross Pay for 3 shifts worked.Â
Schedule Type: Per Diem
Schedule: Monday-Sunday; a minimum of 2Â Â days a week for 12 hour preschedule shifts
Shift Times: AM 7AM-7PM NOC 7PM-7AM
Department: Emergency Department Â

Required Experience
Minimum of 6 months  of ER nursing experience in level 1 trauma center
Emergency Department experience
Required Certification
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university
BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
ACLS - (American Heart Association)Â
PALS - (American Heart Association)Â
NIHSS-(American Heart Association)
MAB or CPI Certification
LA County fire and Life Safety CardÂ
CA Registered Nurse licenseÂ
Preferred
Minimum of 1-3Â years of experience working at a Level 1 Trauma ERÂ
Responsibilities
Serves as the first line of defense for patients who require any type of urgent medical care
Treat patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or sever medical conditionsÂ
Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize careÂ
Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment
Participate in code blue or other emergency situationsÂ
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care planÂ
