Qualifications
6+ months of CCU nursing experience in a Level 1 trauma center
Active California RN license
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (American Heart Association)
MAB or CPI certification
LA County Fire and Life Safety Card
A Day in the Life Your 12-hour shift begins with rapidly assessing patients in critical condition and coordinating with physicians and intensivists to stabilize and treat life-threatening emergencies. You’ll administer complex medications, operate life-support equipment, and remain alert for subtle changes in patient status.
Throughout the day or night, you’ll lead emergency responses, educate patients and families on care plans, and document every step with precision. Each shift is unpredictable — but deeply rewarding.
