A Day in the Life:
As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you'll be the cornerstone of our child and youth program. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping young lives, providing essential care, guidance, and support.
Tasks:
From coordinating appointments to leading groups, your role covers diverse tasks. You'll ensure medication safety, precise documentation, and community outreach, making a real impact.
Interactions:
Connect with youth daily, assessing, addressing meds, and educating. Team up with families and providers for a positive health impact.
Things Do They Do Weekly/Monthly:
Your dedication ensures regular medical assessments, education, and support for youth. Timely meds, accurate records, and ongoing engagement foster their well-being and growth.
Work Schedule:
- Pay: $60/hr.
- Schedule: Mon - Fri
- Shift: 40 hrs./ week, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Location: Oakland, CA
- Duration: 24 weeks
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of full-time recent experience in a child specialty setting as an RN
- RN license in the State of CA
- BLS certification from AHA
