Schedule: Monday-Sunday; a minimum of 2Â Â days a week for 12 hour preschedule shifts

Required Experience
Minimum of 6 months of Medsurg nursing experience in acute care setting
Required Certification
Associates of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university
BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
ACLS - (American Heart Association)Â

NIHSS-(American Heart Association)
MAB or CPI Certification

Responsibilities:
RN's will float within the assigned facilities between Los Angeles, Torrance, Sylmar, and Downey California.Â
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to a diverse patient population on a medical-surgical unit.
Manage a wide range of patient conditions, including post-operative recovery, chronic disease management, acute medical illnesses, and rehabilitation needs.
Perform systematic patient assessments, recognize changes in patient status, and implement timely and appropriate nursing interventions.
Administer medications and treatments accurately, including intravenous therapies, wound care, and various general nursing procedures.
Actively participate in rapid response situations and medical emergencies, initiating appropriate interventions and supporting the care team.
Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and adjust individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, medication regimens, self-care practices, and discharge planning, offering compassionate guidance.
Document all aspects of patient care thoroughly and accurately, ensuring compliance with nursing standards and hospital policies.
